David Beckham's wife Victoria explains why they dated in parking lots

(Web Desk) - Victoria Beckham, a former Spice Girl, stated that her husband David Beckham followed the manager's suggestion and began dating in parking lots in order to keep their relationship private.

The upcoming four-part Netflix docuseries Beckham, which follows David from boyhood to a great athletic career, has a teaser trailer online. On October 4, "Beckham" will start streaming on Netflix.

His and Victoria's lengthy relationship, which started in 1997 after they first met at one of David's Manchester United soccer games, is explored in the docuseries.

In a February 2020 interview with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show," David recounted, "We talked for about an hour in the players' lounge, and she really got the train out that day. She then jotted down her phone number on her train ticket, which I still possess.

"You will observe David standing aside with his family while the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their friends. (At this point, he isn't even a member of the first squad; you are the well-known player.) And he has such a sweet smile," Victoria said in an article for British Vogue.

"You'll realise how similar it is to how you feel to him since you're close to your family. He'll ask for your phone number. (He still has the plane ticket from London to Manchester on which you wrote it.)"

The couple later welcomed their fourth child, Harper (not seen), along with sons Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo.
